My healing journey led me to write the songs on this CD. I kept a digital mini recorder with me to catch my melodies and lyrics as they came to me during this very creative yet challenging time. The inspiration came from many places; as I took walks that connected me to nature, after a meditation deepening my connection to God, after learning and then practicing what I took home from teachers, workshops, books and CDs deepening my awareness of living mindfully. They came from a place of truth, from the heart and beyond, from a place of quiet, inner peace, gratitude and joy.
The present moment is where I find inner peace and I am always in the present moment when I sing, connecting to the breath, breathing in and breathing out. Singing puts me in a place of deep love and gratitude.
I so happy to share this CD with you.
Music and Meditation Open Hearts
Peaceful Kids
This is a meditation CD with a bonus track of one of my healing songs to help kids and their families find inner peace in these fast-paced times filled with e-mails, texts, social media, traumatizing lockdowns and drills in school, and environmental, emotional, spiritual, and physical challenges. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Meditation is considered a type of mind-body complementary medicine. Meditation produces a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind."
My husband Jeff and I recorded this CD from a place of deep love in hopes of helping others by sharing some of the relaxation tools that I use every day. This CD will teach you how to calm the body and mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote healing and wellness through meditation, breathing techniques, body relaxation, visualizations, and positive affirmations!
A few notes for you: When you practice the belly-breathing section on your own, to understand how to do it properly, you can practice by lying down on your back and holding a book on your belly so you can see visually when you breathe in that your belly is filling up with more air than your chest is. You can also place one hand on the chest and one hand on the belly to get this sense.
If you don't have time to listen to the entire CD at once, tracks 2-8 break up the full CD into sections. I recommend starting the meditation with Goodbye Worries & Fear, which are cleansing breaths, then Body Relaxation, and then Meditation-Counting Breaths. When you count the breaths, relax into your natural breath and count your breaths as instructed on the CD for 12-20 minutes at a sitting. Two times a day, once before breakfast and once before dinner, are optimal. Since everything slows down including digestion when you relax into meditation, you want to eat afterward if possible!
If you have any questions after listening, please feel free to contact me through my email: franniefaith@me.com. Track 1 is the full meditation with my song I Am You. Tracks 2-8 are techniques from the full meditation that you can use separately as tools for wellness.
